THE CHARLES HARVEY AND MAY SWEET LORD JUSTICE ACTION FUND

Support Justice Action Among Seminarians and Young Adults

The Charles Harvey and May Sweet Lord Justice Action Fund is a fund established by the Disciples Justice Action Network. The fund is named after the Lords as a way of remembering Harvey and May for all they did for DJAN, as well as their many years of work on behalf of the larger movement for justice, peace, and diversity.

The Lords Justice Action Fund is a way to remember Harvey and May, celebrate their many years of work on behalf of justice and peace, and honor them for their leadership as two of the main founders of DJAN.

Financial gifts to the Lords Justice Action Fund will be used to promote the work of DJAN and its coalition partners among seminarians and young adults, primarily by providing resources for seminarians and young adults - especially women and persons of color - to participate in justice-oriented events and gatherings.

All contributions to the Lords Fund are tax-deductible. Donate online or via check (subject line Lords Fund) by clicking the button below:

WHY SUPPORT THE FUND NOW?

Because now and in the years to come, we need a strong voice for prophetic witness and justice advocacy within our denomination.

Because now more than ever, in this time of deception, division, and dehumanization, we very much need progressive Disciples leadership helping organize and guide those ecumenical, interfaith, and religious-secular coalitions in which people of faith and conscience are working together to build the Beloved Community envisioned by Dr. King.

Because we need to help current and future Disciples leaders and activists get more involved in justice issues – and we need to do it now.

SO PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!
